About Us
NorthStar Corporate Finance is headquartered in Prague with offices in Stuttgart and Vienna. We are an independent, partner owned investment banking advisory firm, specialized in cross-border investment transactions.
Our clients include major corporations, owner managers, management teams and financial institutions. All of our clients benefit from our ability to lead and manage their transactions, providing advice they can rely on and trust. Our international contacts and experience coupled with the firm’s unique understanding of the local economy, various industries and local political structures help us provide value to our clients.
History
Established in 1998 as Apax Partners CEE Representative Office.
Renamed as Altium Capital in 2000.
From 2003 to 2006 renamed to Northstar Corporate Finance and was part of HSH Nordbank, Germany.
In 2006, NorthStar’s management conducted an MBO to acquire 100% of Northstar.
From 2009 to 2019, Northstar was a member of Mergers Alliance
Since 2019, Northstar has been a member of Geneva Capital Group.
